PINOT NOIR, 2022 VQA
$24.95 – $299.40
Delicate and pretty, with its garnet hue is a delight for the palate. Feminine in structure, the nose displays red cherry and currant and a whisper of cedar. Dry on the palate, with medium astringency and silky tannins, this is a great wine to celebrate the earthniess of fall. The perfect pairing a Camembert cheese, a creamy mushroom risotto or pan seared duck breast.
Description
One of the world’s most popular red wines Pinot noir thrives in our terrior. Notoriously known as a persnickty grape to grow, when done right it is an elegant, complex wine.
North 42’s 2022 Pinot noir has a lovely rich garnet hue. Garnet has long been considered the symbols of love and associated with inner fire and life force and Pinot noir has been our wine maker’s, Martin’s, expression of love since we opened our doors in 2012. It has been central to North 42’s portfolio. garnering many accolades over the years. The 2022 is no exception. With its great tannins, berry notes with a whiff of cedar on the nose, this delicate yet powerful Queen of grapes exhibits the earthiness of a fine fall day and its lingering warmth. It is a lighter bodied wine that exhibits signs of longevity, elegance and complexity that makes it so rewarding to drink.
We love pairing this wine with all sorts of mushroom dishes, duck, venison and yes tomato sauces rich with Italian herbs.
