Description
Summer Chill began as a creation by North 42 Degrees as part of the Essex Pelee Island Coast celebration of our region’s 150th anniversary of winemaking. It was so popular that we continued to produce this successful white blend but now using Riesling, Chardonnay and a kiss of Gewurztraminer. The label changed from the original to something that we believed more accurately reflected the name and contents of the bottle – a pair of adirondack chairs overlooking our majestic Lake Erie. Nestled on the Shores of Lake Erie our winery pays homage to this shallow but mighty lake as we are blessed by its moderating effects which allows our grapes to flourish.
The 2020 Summer Chill is as beautiful and bright as a summer day. It’s a terrific sipping wine for any time of year with juicy notes of green apple and a burst of lemon. Finishing with a mouth watering acidity this wine transports you to the shores of Lake Erie and celebrates Windsor Essex summers all year long.
