Announcing our Hike 42 Spring dates!
Come discover our stuning 40 acre Carolinian forest with its beautiful display of wildflowers for you, our valued customers to enjoy! You’ll be awed by acres of Trilliums, delicate spring beauties and intriguingly edible trout lilies just for starters. You’ll be led on a guided 3 mile hike, treated to wine tasting and an outdoor camp style gourmet lunch, made with local ingredients, prepared by our Culinary team fire side as you relax with an award winning wine pairing and listen to the sounds of our natural habitat.
On this hike you will see and learn not only about the beautiful flora and fauna that inhabits our natural wonderland, but reminants of the ice age, various deciduous trees, grapes growing, the natural history of our region and of course a bit of farming. With any luck you’ll hear the sounds of warblers and woodpeckers.

Last year’s nature walk was in it’s glory in mid April to early May. This is a rain or shine event. Please dress for the wear. Layers and rain boots are strongly recommended. Our forest is in the flood plain.
